Earth boy (not done or edited) 1096 words
A boy about age 10 laid puzzled on the dirt, unconscious. He cautiously lifted his head and examined his surroundings. He started slowly standing up. And suddenly his pupils grew small with fright. Then I knew, I had been spotted. I gasped and was still with shock. He pointed at me and started stuttering words I could not understand. I turned around and headed for the station. Behind me I heard footsteps. “They're going to kill me for bring him here! It was just an accident, just an accident.” I was muttering. I never meant for this to happen. I ran faster towards the station. Maybe if I explain it to them they won't contact my home village and get me in trouble. Peering over the hill was the station, in all it's glory. The sound of footsteps behind me was gone, but who knows for how long. I reached the station to be greeted by the villagers working there. “Natsuki, what do you need?” The one on the left said. “Earth boy! An earth boy's here! I found him!” I said worried. The one on the right had pure fear in his eyes and he yelled. “Code red! Code red! Notify the nearby villages! Natsuki take shelter! We'll get the rest of the village protectors to take care of this!” As the one on the right gave me instructions the one on the left pushed a large red button. An ear shattering alarm sounded and you could hear people in the near by village starting to take cover. “Go! Go!” they yelled. I then turned and ran for the village. I ran to the closet house. “Help me! It's gonna get me!” I shouted. The door flung open and an arm pulled me in. “Eeeepp!” I screeched. “Shhh- we don't want that alien to know we're here. How on earth did that alien get on Elishpermargoh (el-is-per-mar-go)?” my neighbor said terrified. “Natsuki,” the child said tugging on my skirt. “what's going on I'm scared.” I patted the child's head. This was all my fault. I just wished for something to happen. I didn't mean to bring an earth child to Elishpermargoh. This has only happened once before and that was thousands of years ago. The alarm was still sounding and everyone seemed on edge. What in the world have I done?
It's been over a year since I've seen the earth boy. To be honest I'm kinda worried about him. He was so young when I found him. Think of all the changes he's gone thorough alone, not to mention surviving on a forgein planet to him. I found if we found food and built a house. But there's always that possiblity that we died of starvation or something along those lines. It may sound weird but I kinda hope he made it. He had an adorable little face, even if he was a earthling. Should I go look for him? What if I'm caught? I don't want to go to jail! I'll just see if he's still there. Yeah, looking couldn't hurt. And if he's alive I won't say anything, if he's dead I won't say anything, if he's a hungry cannibal with a creepy gleam in his eye then I'll report him.
After a short conversation with myself I walked over to the area where I had found Earth Boy a year ago. The area looked the same. I searched the area. Nothing. I sighed with disappointment. I bent down and touched the ground where I found him. My light pink tinted fingers gently scraped the ground. The light powdery surface of the ground left a little residue on my finger tips. I brushed it off on the bottom of my short yellow dress. I walked around looking out at all the planets. From what I've heard, Earth has a beautiful blue sky, with weather patterns and clouds. Elishpermargoh doesn't have a sky, you just space. It's good thing space is pretty. The children often stare up and pick out the constellations. Elishpermargohians don't need oxygen, because there isn't any. Therefore, we have no plant life, well plants like you probably have. I kept walking. I felt my self step on something that didn't feel like the ground. I stepped back and crouched down and brushed away the dust. A piece of flat metal became visible. I kept digging and digging and guess what else? Digging. Finally I was able to see that what I stumbled upon was an earthling ship. My heart sank, even though I really didn't have any connection with this child I felt disappointed. Like all hope was lost. I stood up and looked down at the metal structure. I heard a voice say something in a language I was not firmialir with. I turned around and saw what looked like Earth Boy, but he looked older and his clothes were tattered. The boy then picked up and stick and started to chase me away from the metal thing. I don't get it. It was burried it wasn't like he was using it. He chased me for a while before returning the metal thing. I followed him as silently as I could but after a short while he yelled at me in that strange language . I moved my arms from him to me. And I hoped this older Earth Boy would understand. He said something and I repeated. “Hi.” I tried my vocal cords felt tied up in a knot saying these weird syallables. “Hi. Hi. Hi.” I repeated. My I felt my vocal cords adapting themselves and quickly I knew 'hi'. And shortly after I had a small human vocabluary of about 15 words. Earth Boy seemed very nice and friendly, he even showed me where he found food, and he even offered me some! I declined and did the best I could to say ' I can't go back to my village I”m staying here.'. But I think he understood the opposite of what I meant. I helped him set up his little camp. I found sticks and he made fire. He asked me about going to my village after the sun set I told him in the little words I knew that, “I stay here. Can't go back. I know human now.” he nodded and quickly made some small modifications. I hoped I wouldn't cause too much trouble. But I did know what to eat and what not to and the seasons.
